It does not monitor PC usage as far as i've known , but it does collect data and this is mentioned in their Privacy policy. These are normal data collected by almost many sites that you visit. Just like forums and blogs have your IP collected and information , Alexa does the same : http://www.alexa.com/help/priv... . I really don't mind having it . I've been using it for months now . I'm sure its safe to go with .

Just a little note, alexa toolbar is a spyware in the sense it monitors you're PC usage and other stuff.

EDIT: Yes it does collect data and states that, but it collects it for ad and usage tracking and still some people may not be comfortable with this (eg. me). :) So to you be you're own choices and to me mine.

I already have a couple issues with overheating on my laptop , so i really don't look into customization , i want it to run cooler and smoothly . My style is simple and simple it will remain :D

And with toolbars , i do mind having any other toolbar running other than the Alexa toolbar . The alexa toolbar does help my in checking website ranks and updated news at one go . Also there's an unproven fact that having Alexa toolbars do help in increasing your websites ranking . This one should do good without any issues . :P

The only thing that matters is , you keep your computer clean and running swiftly by removing any of those nasty Viruses and tidying up your Hard drive daily .

Yes , maybe you are a bit lazy, but do checkout a few settings and tweaks. The startup and stuff you have is the customization you made and it reflects your style and personality. Oh and don't forget to wipe out those nasty toolbars or dont even lay you're hands on this website.. ;)

On the other hand, I feel its Chrome that's leading because of its sophisticated webkit engine and by far, the most superior performance ever.

Firefox always remains sluggish, but its stable and extensively customizable.

Those are actually 3D models and crafts , the videos are not ours .. looks like some random video that showed up . Google images show up images from the blog .
